The role of the Estimates Committee is to examine and report on the:
- estimates of proposed expenditure contained in the Appropriation (2026-2027) Bill (Serial 63) and related budget documents, and
- Treasury Legislation Amendment Bill 2026 (Serial 64), and
- activities, performance, practices and financial management of the Power and Water Corporation, Jacana Energy and Territory Generation, with reference to those corporations' Statements of Corporate Intent 2026-27.
