The role of the Estimates Committee is to examine and report on the:

• estimates of proposed expenditure contained in the Appropriation (2025-2026) Bill and related budget documents, and
• Revenue Legislation Amendment Bill 2025 (Serial 26), and
• activities, performance, practices and financial management of the Power and Water Corporation, Jacana Energy and Territory Generation, with reference to those corporations' Statements of Corporate Intent 2025-26.
