Mrs HICKEY: The front page of the report reads: ‘This report was prepared for the Northern Territory Country Liberal Party for the confidential attention of Mr Shane Stone and Mr Mark Textor’. I seek leave to table a copy of the invoice sent by the research company to Territory taxpayers.

Mrs HICKEY: The bill is for $35 540. Will the Chief Minister explain how he justifies receiving this report which was paid for by Territory taxpayers?
ANSWER
Madam Speaker, it was not. Does the Leader of the Opposition think she can just stand up here and say that this equals this. Her first memo shows that there were to be 2 surveys, now she has handed me one. As I have pointed out, this even predates me being elected to parliament. She has to do better than that.
