Consideration of evidence received

Inquiry Update - 18 March 2026

The Public Accounts Committee advises that it is currently analysing the evidence it has received to date. Acknowledging the complexity and importance of the Acacia Digital Patient Record System, the Committee has also sought additional information from the Department of Health and the Department of Corporate and Digital Development on a number of matters relating to the inquiry terms of reference. A further update will be provided following consideration of this material.

Inquiry Referral

Pursuant to clause 1(d)(ii) of its Terms of Reference, on 13 February 2025 the Public Accounts Committee received an inquiry referral from the Treasurer, the Hon Bill Yan MLA, requesting that the committee investigate the costs associated with the implementation and management of the Acacia Digital Patient Record System.
