QUESTION
With reference to Police numbers in Alice Springs:
Was Commander Bert Hofer reported to have said in the Alice Springs News, dated 14 February 2008 that:
- “The entire Territory force could do with more police”
and:
- “If I had another 300 police, I could use them”;
if so, in light of Commander Hofer’s comments, will the government provide more Police in Alice Springs and; if not, why not.
