1 (a) The contract value of $2,201,380 is the total of contract based on tendered schedule of rates. The amount of individual contracts is commercial-in-confidence and not advertised.

1 (b) Scope of works
Five contracts were awarded, with Centacare NT being awarded two. See list below:
Centacare NT (Darwin urban public housing and ‘A Place to Call Home’)
Larrakia Inc (Darwin town camps)
Centacare NT (Katherine urban public housing and town camps)
Anglicare NT (Alice Springs urban public housing)
Tangentyere Council (Alice Springs town camps)
All contractors are required to deliver the same services to their respective geographic client group, ie public housing urban clients and/or town camp residents. The services are part of the Tenancy Sustainability Program aimed at assisting participants to sustain a tenancy through the provision of targeted intervention, culturally appropriate referral to support services, case management and delivery of life skill modules. Participants are those identified as ‘at risk’ and not restricted to Indigenous only.
Centacare NT is also contracted to deliver supported accommodation for homeless people in six dwellings in Darwin. This is a joint Northern Territory Government and Australian Government initiative called ‘A Place to Call Home’, which is part of the Homelessness National Partnership Agreement.

2. The first successful organisation listed in Tenders Online as at 25/02/09 referred to as an “incorporated association” is Larrakia Inc. Organisations tender and list as their legal entity, or trading name. Larrakia Inc is their trading name.

3. The Tenders Online list and Gazettal list are two separate lists and data is not required to be aligned. Tenders Online information is kept on the website until tenders are awarded, then removed. It is a list of tenders submitted to Contracts and Procurement Services. Gazettal information follows the schedule of assessment and approval by the Procurement Review Board to award tenders.
The organisation referred to in the “Tenders Online” as at the 25/02/09 referred to as “Other Unincorporated Identity”, is Centacare NT. As stated above, there is no inconsistency between Tenders Online and NT Government Gazettal No. G9 of 2009 data as the lists are for separate purposes.

4. The fourth contractor is Anglicare NT.
