a) 1994/95;
b) 1995/96;
c) 1996/97;
d) 1997/98; and
e) 1998/99 to date.

2. What are the details of the work undertaken for each of the above amounts and, in particular, how much was spent on preparing the building for library purposes and for other functions.
3. Prior to the move of the State Reference Library into the Parliament House building were any investigations undertaken to assess the feasibility of using the Old Supreme Court building (now Federal and Commonwealth Courts) as a location for the Library; if so, what was the estimated cost of refurbishing to fit out that building for library purposes.

(b) 1997/98 $18,000

There was no expenditure relative to the question in any other other years mentioned.

2. The 1995/96 expenditure met the cost of refurbishment to accommodate the move of the NT Library Service from Capricornia House to the Chan Building.

The 1997/98 expenditure was for the provision and erection of partitioning in the ground floor to create a conference room for the use of the NT Library.
