Mr FINCH (Education and Training): Mr Speaker, last week the member for Wanguri asked questions about COGSO. I answered his queries with the exception of one. The query that I did not answer related to my non-attendance at a conference which clashed unfortunately with a ministerial conference interstate of which this House was advised. That advice was passed to COGSO early. In relation to my not finding a substitute delegate to attend the conference, which was the core not only of the member's question but also of some interjections later, my ministerial officer phoned the acting president of COGSO and offered a

substitute MLA. That offer was declined by Mr Steve Carter. The honourable member should get his facts straight before he makes wild accusations.
