Department of the Legislative Assembly, Northern Territory Government

Mr EDE - 1994-08-24

Mr EDE (Opposition Leader): Mr Speaker, before I ask my question, in the apparent absence of the Chief Minister, I ask if another minister has been delegated to take questions on his behalf during Question Time or whether we are to place on notice our questions to the Chief Minister today.

Mr SPEAKER: I am advised that the Chief Minister will be here very soon.

Mr FINCH: Mr Speaker, the reason for his absence is that there are no bells in the part of the ministerial offices ...

Mr SPEAKER: I am very sorry. I was not aware that there were no bells.

Mr Coulter: He will be here.
