In view of the level of financial support provided by the Northern Territory government to the St John Ambulance Service, in the interests of community health, will the minister confirm that he will undertake to inquire into the high rate of paramedic turnover and the hiring-out of paramedical services interstate, offshore and to private mining interests? In this inquiry, will he undertake to establish that the general community, which relies on paramedical services in times of emergency, will not be disadvantaged?
