Last Tuesday, the Chief Minister waxed lyrical on the issue of statehood for the Northern Territory. What does he think of the performance of the Minister for Lands, Housing and Local Government at last month's National Party conference at which he was the CLP delegate when a motion to confer statehood on the Northern Territory by 'the year 2001' was amended to read 'as soon as possible'?
