Mr COULTER (Conservation): Mr Speaker, I have some additional information for the member for Nelson. As I said, administratively, some advances have been made at an officer level in relation to waste spills. I understand the government is addressing the broader issue of pollution control through the NT Waste Management and Pollution Control Strategy that has been developed by the Conservation Commission in consultation with the industry and the wider community. A management plan for waste lubricating oil is being developed by the Conservation Commission as a component of that strategy. For the benefit of the honourable member, I will table my briefing notes on the whole incident to enable her to be more fully informed about the incident from the government perspective.
