Mr FINCH (Health Services): Mr Speaker, yesterday, in Question Time, the member for MacDonnell asked a question in relation to Pap smear tests in Katherine, having claimed that he had written to me in the previous week. I tracked down the letter and, in fact, it was sent 2 days before. However, I realise that, in the life of the member for MacDonnell, 2 days probably seems like a week sometimes, particularly when you are talking about suspension time.
My department attempted to track down some information in relation to the member's allegations but to no avail. Subsequently, I sought his cooperation to follow up with further details that would enable us to pursue this matter. When that has been done, I will return with written advice to him between sittings.
