Mr Speaker, I refer the Treasurer to his memorandum of 22 June to all ministers in which he advised ministers to avoid giving detailed responses to the opposition's budget questions. I remind the Treasurer that there may be matters of parliamentary privilege associated with instructions of this nature. Why did the Treasurer instruct ministers to avoid providing detail in response to opposition questions about CLP election promises? Did he give the instruction because the promises are unfunded?
