Mr Speaker, on 3 March 1994, a senior CAMS official wrote to the government expressing serious concerns about the Cannonball Run, including sustained high speeds by largely non-evaluated drivers, the large size of the vehicle fleet and that high performance vehicles would not be fitted with normal competitive safety equipment. I understand that the Chief Minister replied to those concerns. Will he advise what he said in that letter and will he table a copy of his reply?
