The fantastic member for Katherine has lobbied very hard to recognise and identify the fact that health services in Katherine were struggling under the former government and that Katherine Hospital is almost to the point of requiring refurbishment or replacement.
It is part of our plan for the future to build a new hospital in Katherine. The finer details of when and how it will happen will be laid before you in the coming weeks and months.
