Mr BAILEY (Wanguri): Madam Speaker, I move that so much of standing orders be suspended as would prevent me from moving the following censure motion:
that this House censures the Deputy Chief Minister
(1) for lying to the people of Yulara and misleading this
House over the role of the member for MacDonnell
in supposedly protecting the interests of the people
of Yulara in relation to the destruction of their council;
(2) for lying to the people of Parap about his commitment to
act on their behalf over an inappropriate and unwanted
property development; and
(3) for lying to Territorians and misleading this House over
his purchase of illegal X-rated homosexual pornography.
Mr COULTER (Leader of Government Business): Madam Speaker, the government accepts this motion as a censure motion, the most serious motion that can be raised in this House. I ask that further questions be placed on the question paper and that the broadcast cease.
