Today 15 000 public servants and their families enjoy six weeks recreation leave per year. Last month the government forced a change to the NTPS general conditions of service award to restrict recreation leave to four weeks per year. How is removing two weeks recreation leave per year from our hardworking public servants protecting their lifestyle?

Mr Speaker, I will take advice on that. I imagine that would be part of the cooperative agreements in EBA decisions on ongoing conditions of service which would have been traded for greater remuneration from government and other areas.
