1. STATEMENT FROM THE CLERK
Pursuant to Standing Order 9, the Clerk informed the Assembly of the absence of the Speaker.

The Assembly met at 10am. The Deputy Speaker, Mr Gary Higgins took the Chair.

      Mr Gunner (Member for Fannie Bay) moved - That leave of absence be granted to Mr McCarthy (Member for Barkly) for today, tomorrow and Thursday on account of electorate business.

10. MINISTERIAL STATEMENT - THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS TRIBUNAL IN THE NOTHERN TERRITORY - MOTION TO NOTE AGREED TO
      Mr Elferink (Leader of Government Business) made a statement relating to establishing an Administrative Appeals Tribunal in the Northern Territory.

      Mr Elferink moved – That the Assembly take note of the Statement.

11. MINISTERIAL STATEMENT - INFRASTRUCTURE IN THE NORTHERN TERRITORY - MOTION TO NOT AGREED TO
      Mr Tollner (Treasurer) made a statement relating to the work the Government is undertaking to deliver and manage infrastructure assets.

      Mr Tollner moved – That the Assembly take note of the Statement.

      Debate ensued.

      Extension of Time: On the motion of Ms Finocchiaro, Mr Wood was granted an extension of time.
