7. MEDIA COVERAGE OF MINI BUDGET 2012/2013 – STATEMENT BY SPEAKER:
      The Speaker advised Members that permission had been given to the Northern Territory News to take photographs and ABC and Sky News to film the presentation of the Mini Budget 2012/2013 today.
8. MINI-BUDGET 2012/2013 – PAPER TABLED - MINISTERIAL STATEMENT – MOTION TO NOTE PAPER AND STATEMENT:
      Mrs Lambley made a statement relating thereto.
      The Treasurer (Mrs Lambley) presented the Mini-Budget 2012/2013 (Paper 164).
      Mrs Lambley moved – That the Assembly take note of the Statement and Paper.
      On the motion of the Leader of the Opposition (Ms Lawrie) debate was adjourned.

9. REVENUE AND OTHER LEGISLATION AMENDMENT BILL 2012 (Serial 17):
      The Treasurer (Mrs Lambley), by leave, presented a Bill for an Act to amend the legislation administered by the Treasurer and the Motor Vehicles (Fees and Charges) Regulations (Paper 165).
      Bill read a first time.
      Mrs Lambley moved – That the Bill be now read a second time and was granted leave to continue her remarks at a later hour.

10. CRIMINAL CODE AMENDMENT (ASSAULTS ON WORKERS) BILL 2012 (Serial 11):
      The Attorney-General and Minister for Justice (Mr Elferink), pursuant to notice, presented a Bill for an Act to amend the Criminal code and make related and consequential amendments to other Acts.
      Bill read a first time.
      Mr Elferink moved – That the Bill be now read a second time.
      Debate ensued.
      Paper tabled: Mr Elferink laid on the Table the following Paper –
        Explanatory Statement, Criminal Code Amendment (Assaults on Workers) Bill 2012 (Paper 166).
