- The Assembly met at 10am, pursuant to resolution of the Assembly, dated Thursday 30 November 2006. The Speaker, the Honourable J. L. Aagaard, took the Chair.

3. VISITORS - KENBI DANCERS:
- The Speaker advised Members of the presence in the Gallery of the Kenbi Dancers led by Mr Richard Koolpinyah Barnes and organised by Mr Kelvin Costello and thanked them for their performance in the Chamber earlier this day.
On behalf of all Members the Speaker extended a warm welcome to the visitors.
- The Speaker advised Members of the presence in the Speaker's Gallery of Chinese Community members to witness the performance of Chung Wah Chinese Lions performing in the Chamber celebration of Chinese New Year.

9. MINISTERIAL REPORTS:
- Visit to Japan and Timor Sea Gas Supplies: The Chief Minister (Ms Martin) reported on her recent visit to Japan to discuss petrochemical investment and Timor Sea reserves development opportunities of the Territory.

Road Safety Measures: The Minister for Infrastructure and Transport (Ms Lawrie) reported on road funding and new traffic laws.
