    1. MEETING:
        The Assembly met at 10am. The Speaker, the Honourable J. L. Aagaard, took the Chair.

        The Speaker advised Members of the presence in the public galleries of Gray Primary School Year 4/5 students accompanied by Ms Stewart.

        On behalf of all Members the Speaker extended a warm welcome to the visitors.

    4. BUSINESS NAMES (NATIONAL UNIFORM LEGISLATION) IMPLEMENTATION BILL 2012 (Serial 199):
        The Minister for Justice and Attorney-General (Mr Knight), pursuant to notice, presented a Bill for an Act to provide for the implementation of a national law relating to the registration and use of business names.
        Bill read a first time.
        Mr Knight moved – That the Bill be now read a second time.

    5. WORKERS REHABILITATION AND COMPENSATION LEGISLATION AMENDMENT BILL 2012 (Serial 200):
        The Minister for Justice and Attorney-General (Mr Knight), pursuant to notice, presented a Bill for an Act to amend the Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act and Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Regulations.

    12. MENTAL HEALTH CARE ACROSS THE TERRITORY – MOTION NEGATIVED:

        (a) lack of research in mental health care;
        (b) lack of policies addressing women’s health and mental health; and
