5. Criminal Code Amendment (Child Abuse Material) Bill 2013 (Serial 44)
      Mr Elferink (Attorney-General), pursuant to notice, presented a Bill for an Act to amend the Criminal Code.

      Mr Elferink (Attorney-General), pursuant to notice, presented a Bill for an Act to amend the Mental Health and Related Services Act.

9. MINISTERIAL STATEMENT - WATER RESOURCES DRIVING DEVELOPMENT IN THE NT - MOTION TO NOTE
      Mr Westra van Holthe (Minister for Land Resource Management) made a statement outlining the Governments blueprint for managing water resources.

    19. DEVELOPMENT OF ONE MILE DAM, KNUCKEY LAGOON – MOTION AGREED TO
        Resumption of debate on the question - That the Government:

        1. Review the future development of the One Mile Dam, Knuckey Lagoon, 15-Mile and Aboriginal communities within the Darwin region.

        2. That the review includes:

        (1) Any future development plans;

        (2) Existing and future land leasing arrangements;

        (3) Home ownership;

        (4) Governance including local government; and

        3. That the review should include views of residents, Aboriginal Development Foundation, relevant agencies and non-government organisations.

    21. East Point Heritage Preservation - MOTION NOT AGREED TO
        Resumption of debate on the question - That this Assembly recognise:

        1. The unique environmental and heritage values of Darwin’s harbour;

        2. That the special places like East Point help define Darwin as an extraordinary city to live in and make our place a pleasure for people to visit;

        3. Parliament must:
          (1) Protect the natural beauty and heritage values of East Point;

          (2) Preserve the environmental values of Ludmilla Creek;

          (3) Safeguard the ecologically important mangrove areas of Coconut Grove; and

        4. These special places are at risk under the CLP’s new Planning Commission

        Resumption of debate on the question - That the Assembly condemns the Government for breaking the promises they made to Territorians at the last election, driving up the cost of living and increasing public drunkenness and antisocial behaviour

    23. Super Clinic, Darwin Northern Suburbs - MOTION NOT AGREED TO
        Resumption of debate on the question - That the Assembly:

        1. Supports the establishment of a new bulk billing super clinic in the northern suburbs at the location already earmarked or the clinic; and

        2. Calls upon the NT Government to work closely with the Federal Government to ensure the speedy processing of the current proposal by a private provider for the establishment of the super clinic.

      24. HOMELANDS – MOTION NOT AGREED TO
          Resumption of debate on the question – That the Assembly condemns the Government for:

          1. Promising homelands residents they will receive $5,200 from the Government while implementing a policy that means most will get nothing; and

          2. Failure to support access to education and economic development opportunities for Homelands residents.

      25. TIWI ISLANDS AND THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT – MOTION
          Resumption of debate on the question – That the Assembly condemn Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and his Federal Labor Government for:

          1. Misleading the people of the Tiwi Islands and breaking their promise not to introduce a carbon tax;

          2. Raising the cost of living for Tiwi people and all Territory families;

          3. Increasing costs for Tiwi Islanders and threatening business opportunities; and

          4. Putting jobs for Tiwi Islanders and all Territorians at risk.
