11. SUSPENSION OF SITTING - RECONSIDERATION OF APPROPRIATION BILL IN COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE:
The Speaker (Mr Dondas) resumed the Chair; the Chairman (Mr Poole) reported accordingly; and the report was adopted.
The Leader of Government Business (Mr Setter), pursuant to Standing Order 225, moved -
(1) That at 10.00 a.m. on Tuesday 29 September 1992, the Assembly resolve itself again into Committee of
the Whole for further consideration of the Appropriation Bill 1992-93 (Serial 163); and
(2) That this sitting of the Assembly be suspended until Tuesday 29 September 1992 at 10.00 a.m.
Debate ensued.
The Leader of the Opposition (Mr Ede), by leave, moved the following amendment - Omit "Tuesday 29 September 1992
(twice occurring)" and insert in its stead "Monday 28 September 1992".

The Speaker informed Members that he had received a letter from the Indonesian Consulate expressing sympathy on the
death of the Member for Arafura. The Speaker advised Members that he would send a copy of the message to the family
of the Member for Arafura.
