6. ANTI-DISCRIMINATION, DRAFT BILL - PAPER TABLED - MOTION TO NOTE PAPER:
The Minister for Public Employment (Mr Stone) laid on the Table a Draft Anti-Discrimination Bill.
Mr Stone made a statement relating thereto.

7. SEXUAL ABUSE DISCUSSION PAPER - PAPER TABLED - MOTION TO NOTE PAPER:
The Attorney-General (Mr Manzie) laid on the Table a Discussion Paper on Sexual Abuse, dated July 1992.
Mr Manzie made a statement relating thereto.

8. SOUTH-EAST ASIAN TRADE AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES -
MINISTERIAL STATEMENT - STATEMENT NOTED:
The Minister for Industries and Development (Mr Hatton) made a statement relating to progress on initiatives on economic
development cooperation with South East Asia.
Mr Hatton moved - That the Assembly take note of the Statement.

The Minister for Mines and Energy (Mr Coulter), pursuant to notice, presented a Bill for an Act to amend the Energy Resource Consumption Levy Act.

Mr Coulter moved - That the Bill be now read a second time.
On the motion of the Leader of the Opposition (Mr Ede) debate was adjourned.
10. STAMP DUTY AMENDMENT BILL 1992 (Serial 165); and TAXATION (ADMINISTRATION) AMENDMENT BILL 1992 (Serial 170):
Suspension of Standing Orders: The Treasurer (Mr Coulter) moved - That so much of Standing Orders be suspended as would prevent two Bills, the Stamp Duty Amendment Bill 1992 (Serial 165) and the Taxation (Administration) Amendment Bill 1992 (Serial 170) -
(a) being presented and read a first time together and one motion being put in regard to, respectively,
the second readings, the Committee's report stage, and the third readings of the Bills together; and

(b) the consideration of the Bills separately in Committee of the Whole.
Question - put and passed - there being an absolute majority of the whole number of Members present and no dissentient voice.
Mr Coulter presented a Bill for an Act to amend the Stamp Duty Act; and a Bill for an Act to amend the Taxation (Administration) Act, the subject of His Honour the Administrator's Message No.6.
