3. MINISTERIAL REPORTS:
- Bass in the Grass concert: The Chief Minister (Ms Martin) reported on the conduct of the Bass in the Grass concert for Territory youth.
Mr Mills responded thereto.
Itinerants strategy, update: The Minister for Community Development (Mr Ah Kit) reported on the expansion of the Government’s itinerants strategy to Territory major centres including outreach and rehabilitation services.
Dr Lim responded thereto.
Mr Ah Kit responded accordingly.
Ethnic Affairs grants: The Minister for Ethnic Affairs (Mr Vatskalis) reported on the grants made for cultural and linguistic projects and awards.
Dr Lim responded thereto.
Mr Vatskalis responded accordingly.
Fruit fly eradication campaign, Alice Springs: The Minister for Primary Industry and Fisheries (Dr Burns) reported on an eradication campaign to combat an outbreak of fruit fly pest in Alice Springs.
Mr Maley responded thereto.
Dr Burns responded accordingly.
Ministerial Reports noted, pursuant to Sessional Order.
- The Minister for Transport and Infrastructure (Mr Vatskalis), pursuant to notice, presented a Bill for an Act to amend the Water Act.
