7. PAPER TABLED – SPEAKER:
      The Speaker presented a letter from St James’s Palace conveying to the Speaker the thanks of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for crocodile skin pens sent by the Assembly to celebrate their marriage, dated 13 July 2011 (Paper 1406).
      Visitors: The Speaker advised Members of the presence in the public gallery of Anula Primary School Year 5/6 students accompanied by Ms Lewis and Ms Lees.
      On behalf of all Members the Speaker extended to them a warm welcome.

      Suspension of Standing Orders: And the Leader of the Opposition (Mr Mills) moved – That so much of Standing Orders be suspended as would prevent him censuring the Northern Territory government for failing to deliver Indigenous expenditure appropriately.

      The Leader of Government Business (Dr Burns) informed the Assembly that the government accepted the motion as a censure motion, pursuant to Standing Order 95.

      The Leader of Government Business (Dr Burns) asked that further questions be placed on the Written Question Paper.
12. CENSURE OF NORTHERN TERRITORY GOVERNMENT – INDIGENOUS EXPENDITURE FAILINGS - NEGATIVED:
      The Leader of the Opposition (Mr Mills) moved – That this Assembly censure the Northern Territory Government for its profound failures highlighted in the Johnson Report into Indigenous expenditure and further, that this Assembly censure the Northern Territory Government for failing Indigenous Territorians by pursuing policies based on race.

      The Chief Minister (Mr Henderson) made a statement relating to the future and developments of North Australia.
      Mr Henderson moved – That the Assembly take note of the Statement.
