198. Findings of guilt in the Supreme Court’

QUESTIONI would be grateful if you would provide the answers to the following questions in relation to the Justice Department's Budget for 2004-05. In order to assist you, please note that this question relates to output group: 1.0 Legal Services (1.4: Office of the DPP).
1. In relation to the ‘findings of guilt in the Supreme Court’, there is no estimate for 2003-04, but that the estimate for 2004-05 is 85%
(a) What is that figure based on; and
(b) Does a ‘finding of guilt’ include pleas as well as trial by jury.
