QUESTION

I would be grateful if you would provide the answers to the following questions in relation to the Justice Department's Budget for 2004-05. In order to assist you, please note that this question relates to output group: 3.0 Correctional Services (3.1: Custodial Services).

1. You have made several announcements over the last 18 months about the Integrated Offender Management Scheme/Program and its potential benefits –

(a) To what extent is (IOMS) operational;
(b) What has been the cause or causes of any delays;
(c) When do you expect that it will be fully operational; and
(d) Will a further injection of funds be made.
