QUESTION
    In relation to the Tender TW107-0910, T09-2501:

    1. What is the completion date that has been estimated for this project.

    2. In relation to the expense of $7,139,932 how much:
        (a) Is the estimated completion cost for the visiting officers quarters;

        (b) Is the estimated completion cost for each 4 bedroom dwelling;

        (c) Is the estimated completion cost for any other building works under the tender.

    3. For the construction division, what is the estimated cost of supervision of this project

    4. What departmental personnel (by position title) have responsibility for the supervision of this project

    5. What other personnel, contractor or consultant, are providing ongoing management of this project

      Answer to Written Question No. 97 – Tender TW107-0910 and T09-2501 – Gapuwiyak Police Station / related buildings
    1. The Gapuwiyak Themis Police Station project is due for completion in April 2011.
      2. The tender was let for a lump-sum price. Tenderers were not requested to provide a break-up of their tender price by building.

      3. As a Government Business Division, Construction Division operates on a fee-for-service basis. The project management services provided include design, documentation, procurement and contract and project administration. All of these professional and necessary services will cost $748,863.47 (excl GST).

      4. DCI personnel from the Nhulunbuy office are providing project management services during the construction of the Themis Police Station at Gapuwiyak.

      5. DCI personnel are providing the project management services for the construction of the Gapuwiyak Themis Police Station and related buildings.
