280. Alcohol and Other Drugs Tribunal - Number of Apperances

Mr Styles to MINISTER for Alcohol Policy

QUESTION

1. As of August 31, how many people have appeared before the Alcohol and Other Drugs Tribunal?
    2. Please provide a breakdown of the number of cases referred by each category of authorised applicant.

        For example – how many were referred by:

    a) A police officer
    b) An authorised health practitioner
    c) A person authorised by the Minister administering Part 2.1 of the Care and Protection of Children Act to make the application
    d) An adult member of the family of the person to whom the application relates
    e) A responsible adult for the child of the relevant person if it appears to the responsible adult that the child is adversely affected by the behavior of the relevant person because of the relevant person’s misuse of a substance
    f) Another person prescribed by regulation
      3. How many people that have appeared before the AOD Tribunal have been referred by the Tribunal for clinical assessment?
        4. How many people that have appeared before the AOD Tribunal have received a BADT Order?
          5. For all BADT Orders issued by the AOD Tribunal please provide a breakdown of the number issued for each substance.
            6. For all BADT Orders issued by the AOD Tribunal:
            7. How many have required that the person who is the subject of the Order must undergo treatment? Please provide a breakdown of the type of treatment that has been required.
              8. How many have required that the person who is the subject of the Order must undergo counseling?
                9. How many have required that the person who is the subject of the Order must undergo a different intervention other than treatment or counselling? Please provide a breakdown of the type of intervention that has been required.
