QUESTION
I would be grateful if you would provide the answers to the following questions in relation to the Justice Department's Budget for 2004-05. In order to assist you, please note that this question relates to output group: 4.0 Community Services (4.6: Office of Crime Prevention).
The OCP’s budgetary allocation in 2003-04 was $2.356m. It is estimated that it will exceed its budget and spend $2.519m by the end of this financial year. In real terms, it receives an additional $32,000 for 2004-05 -
1. Is this sufficient, and do you hold any concerns that additional funds may need to be provided within the next 12 months.
