1. G R & D Benger is not a sporting association. G R & D Benger is a ground maintenance contractor who has the maintenance contract for the Marrara/Richardson Park ground. The work carried out by the contractor relates directly to sports and the funds for this contract are included with the sports grants purely for administrative purposes, providing transparent accounting in respect of the services provided.

2. An amount of $200 000 was allocated for this work in 1998/99. Work includes all mowing, fertilising, top dressing and generally maintaining all the sporting fields at the Marrara Sporting Complex and at Richardson Park.
