3. Cuprex royalty debt

QUESTION
- 1. At 30 June 1992, was the Cuprex royalty debt $1,194,334.00; if so, over what period did this debt accrue.
2. If the answer to question 1 is yes, had this total royalty debt been outstanding for more than 90 days as at 30 June 1992.
3. If the answers to questions 1 and 2 are yes, what measures were taken by the Department of Mines and Energy to recover the outstanding royalties.
4. Does the Department of Mines and Energy have a policy for overdue royalty recovery; if so, what are the details of that policy.
5. Does the Department of Mines and Energy anticipate receiving any or all of any outstanding Cuprex royalties from liquidation proceedings.

The portfolio responsibility for Royalties transferred to the Treasurer in 1993.
It is appropriate that this question be re-directed to the Treasurer.
