As you know, 2 trials in Alice Springs have been adjourned in relatively recent times because an interpreter has not been available -

1. How many trials in Darwin and Alice Springs have been adjourned in the last 3 calendar years as a result of interpreters not being present.

2. Of those instances of adjourned trials as per above, was a backup trial proceeded with.

3. Would you kindly provide an assessment of the costs to the taxpayer as a result of the interpreters not being available.
